Itâs tasty the way it is but also ferments really well without any added sugars.
October is the season so I make a jar of this yeast water which I use for feeding my sourdough starter once in a while throughout the year. The water-only starter is a bit too sour for my familyâs taste, the grape yeast adds a hint of fruitiness to our favorite bagels. Afterall, weâre the picky New Yorkers!
