Although I love sweet red beans, Yokan, the Japanese Red Bean Jelly, is usually over sweetened for my taste.
So, I make my own Yokan, even more, I came up with adding coco powder to it. I was debating between coco and coffee. The chocolate version came out wonderfully!
I gotta confess that I live eating it with a bit of heavy cream… I’m ruining it, am I? It’s not a vegan dessert anymore😆
