Blanching Green Vegetables

How To Perfectly Blanch Leafy Greens, Broccoli, and Asparagus.


  1. Wash vegetables very well.
  2. Bring water to boil in a large pot.
  3. When water boils, put pinch of sea salt and vegetables, and stir. 
  4. Cook for about 10 seconds for leafy greens, 20 seconds for broccoli and asparagus, and take them out.
  5. Quickly place them in ice water. 
  6. Take them out to colander.
