No-Bake Raw Energy Triangle Recipe

Are you questioning ….. why energy bars? Why not energy balls? I’m not trying to go against the trend, the answer is, this is what I do all the time because I just don’t have enough time to roll 30 of them in between hectic daily routine!

There are thousands of different flavors of energy bars but have you experienced that kids don’t agree with flavor combinations? In a simple language, they want customized flavor. I shouldn’t blame only kids, I also silently opinion a lot;  oh too sweet! too chunky! too sticky! awww…. wish less dry fruits! Do you?

Another reason I don’t like buying from stores is package waste. Each small bars are wrapped in plastic and again in a bulk box.  I like doing what I can do for reducing waste.

Main body is constructed with pretty much typical ingredients of any energy bars and balls; Rolled Oats, Hemp Seeds, Cashew Nuts, Coconut Oil, Manuka Honey, Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate, and Sea Salts.

To satisfy different taste preferences in my family, I prepared two different topping mix. 

  • Type 1:  Almond / Extra Chocolate / Raisin
  • Type 2:  Cranberry / Coconut Flake / Matcha

FYI, ​Kids like Type 1, my husband and I like Type 2!
